GREAT TO MEET YOU!

I am a step mom, a birth mom, a wife, a social worker, a therapist- I have held many titles. I live in Colorado with my family, enjoying the days of sunshine and outdoors.  I like to think of myself as always in a new season, wanting to evolve and grow. This allows me to show up to stand by you in your work with understanding, empathy, and support.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I am trained in EMDR, have experience/training in ADHD, anxiety, trauma, depression, chronic illness, blended families, parenting high medical needs children, trauma, foster care, home health/hospice, and group practice work. I incorporate IFS/parts work and polyvagal theory into my work. I am a certified sound healer and can incorporate that in our work if you request. I want to work with you to see what feels doable, but moveable for your life. You don't seek therapy to stay where you are, and I want to make it a safe space where you feel seen and heard.

What you can expect from our first session

If you are looking for a therapist to listen to you, support your growth, empathize, and challenge you to see your capabilities - you are in the right place. I believe in a strengths based and holistic informed approach to therapy. Sometimes the thing you need the most is a listening ear and a calm place to land. I believe that with a little support and somebody who is willing to see and hear you- you can recognize your worth.  I am Tele-Health only.

About Me

Welcome to my practice, and thank you for visiting my corner of the internet. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker dedicated to fostering a warm and welcoming space for healing. As a compassionate and authentic therapist, I specialize in working with adults and seniors. I understand the ever-changing seasons of life, offering compassionate support through each unique journey.

I am a wife, mother of 2, step mom to 1, sister, therapist, and daughter. In my time off I enjoy short hikes with my young kids, traveling, reading as many books as I can, and a good Netflix binge. You might see me in the wild with earbuds in, in my own world, listening to my latest book.

Private Pay and the No Surprises Act: Good Faith Estimate

You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical care will cost

Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.

  • You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees.
  • Make sure your health care provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least 1 business day before your medical service or item. You can also ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service.
  • If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.
  • Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.

For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call the Colorado Division of Insurance at 303-894-7490 or 1-800-930-3745.
